I always share 那 I did not choose education, 那 it chose me. I had the opportunity to teach an undergraduate class following completion of my MBA program. 到第三节课时, I knew it was a calling and decided to continue my education to complete my terminal degree necessary to teach at the university level. 能够 利用 my 12 years of business experience allows me to apply practical ideas to my teaching and curriculum development. The favorite part of being an educator is being able to mentor and guide 学生 in finding their passion and developing career goals. The best communication is when 学生 follow-up with me after leaving their programs and sharing successes and changes. Remember - education is a life-long journey 那 builds on intellectual discovery and stimulates growth.

As a life-long learner, I am engaged in continuous learning and research. My areas of focus include strategic planning and leadership, specifically women in leadership. 最近, I have added the areas of emotional and cultural intelligence to my research portfolio and training.
